Little River Folk Society sessions with Analog Songs
Back in November our live music video side project, Analog Songs, teamed up with the Little River Folk to bring you a series of music videos featuring artists from Nova Scotia and beyond. We shot them all in one day during Nova Scotia Music Week down in Yarmouth at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
Little River Folk is a society based in Petite Riviere, NS. They have an annual concert series with shows at the Petite Riviere fire hall or at the Petite Riviere Vineyards. Already for the upcoming 2012 series they have The Modern Grass, Matthew Hornell, Ryan Cook, Morgan MacDonald, Keith Mullins, Dana Beeler and Jenny MacDonald. Keep checking their website or facebook page for updates as new acts are added.
We love the LRF shows, which are always so well supported for a small community – testament to the hard work put in by Leif Helmer, Scott Drummond and the team. Thank you for attracting such great acts to the south shore! We were so glad to be able to work together on this project and look forward to doing it again soon.
Check out all the videos from the LRF session on the Analog Songs website as well as lots of other cool sessions that we’ve done over the past year or so.
Final video from the Ryan Cook Yarmouth Sessions
I hope you’ve enjoyed the videos as much as we have, and will pop back from time to time for a refresher! In total we have released 13 songs from the Yarmouth Sessions over the last few months; have a look back at some of them here:
Facebook waltz, Single in a bar, Silver medal blues, Navina, Gentle on my mind, Good time Charlie’s got the blues, I’m so lonesome I could cry, Snowbird, Can’t win for trying, Everybody’s talkin’, Where does an old time river man go?, Easy, Sharpest knife
All these videos are also available on our new Analog Songs website, on the YouTube channel, and on Vimeo.
