On November 12th 2011 a devastating fire destroyed the main lodge at White Point Beach Resort on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. Since then, The Picture House and White Point have been working together to document the events following on from that – from the reactions and emotions of the staff and public, the efforts that the firefighters made to save the lodge and the surrounding buildings, the difficulties that volunteer fire departments face, the rebuild process and everything that goes on behind the scenes to the recreation of a White Point quilt – we’ve captured it all.
